Transfer Round UP: European Football


The 23 year old Dutch midfielder Donny van de Beek has joined Manchester United. He played for Ajax previously. He has signed a five-year contract with the red devils, with an option to extend for a further year. The Netherlands international contributed 10 goals and 11 assists in 37 games last season in the Dutch League.


Aston Villa signed 23 year old midfielder Matty Cash from Nottingham Forest ahead of the premier league 2020/21 season. Cash scored eight times in 41 appearances last season for Nottingham Forest and won Forest's Player of the Year Award.


The 21-year-old German midfielder Kai Havertz has joined Chelsea from  Bayer Leverkusen for a club-record £72million transfer fee. He has signed a five year deal with the club.


Atalanta have signed Russian attacking midfielder Alexei Miranchuk. He played for Lokomotiv Moscow and scored 12 goals in the Russian league last season and two against Juventus in the Champions League.


Everton have announced the signing of Brazilian midfielder Allan from Napoli for a reported fee of £22m. The 29-year-old have made over 200 appearances for Napoli between 2015 and 2020.


Wolves signed 18 year old striker Fabio Silva for £35million. The 18-year-old adds to the already sizeable contingent of Portuguese players in the Wanderers squad but his hefty £35m price tag has raised more than a few eyebrows.


Newcastle signed Bournemouth striker Callum Wilson for £20m. He has left Bournemouth after six years following their relegation to the Sky Bet Championship.


James Rodríguez joins Everton on free transfer from Real Madrid.He has been  reunited with Carlo Ancelotti for a third time. He joined Everton on a two year deal.


Inter have completed the signing of Serbian International defender Aleksandar Kolarov. Reports across Italy have stated that he has signed for 12 months with an option for a second year.


Bayer Leverkusen have signed the 24-year-old forward, Patrik Schick from AS Roma. He is to play for Leverkusen until 2025.


Abdoulaye Doucouré has become Everton’s third major midfield signing after completing his move from Watford for about £20m. The 27-year-old has signed a three-year contract, with Everton having the option on a fourth season.


Newcastle United has signed Northern Ireland left back Jamal Lewis from Championship side Norwich City on a five-year deal. Lewis played 100 games in all competitions for Norwich since making his debut in 2017.


AC Milan signed 20 year old midfielder Sandro Tonali from Brescia Calcio on loan with the option to make the deal permanent. He is signed till 2025.
