Barcelona superstar Luis Suarez joins rivals Atletico Madrid.

Barcelona

Barcelona have confirmed that Luis Suarez has joined Atletico Madrid after the two Spanish sides came to terms on a deal for the Uruguayan star. Suarez  has been told to find a new club as he is not a part in the project of new coach Ronald Koeman. Suarez is a Barcelona legend and has netted 197 goals across 283 appearances for Barcelona since joining the club from Liverpool in the summer of 2014.

Atletico will pay €6 million to Barcelona to complete the transfer. Suarez has been in tears while he completed his last training session with Barcelona. He did not want to move away from the club. He claimed 13 trophies while becoming the club's third-highest all-time goalscorer, only behind Cesar and Leo Messi.
