Lewandowski and Muller lead Bayern to win against Arminia

Robert Lewandowski and Thomas Muller scored two goals each as the German champions crushed hosts Arminia Bielefeld 4-1 in the Bundesliga on Saturday. Bayern were down to 10 men when Tolisso was shown a straight red in the 76th minute.

 

Bayern started scoring early in the match as Thomas Müller made it 1-0 in just the eighth minute. Lewandowski scored his first goal of the match in the 25th minute as he produced a strike from just outside the penalty area to increase Bayern’s advantage to 2-0. Müller set up Lewandowski’s second goal just before halftime. It was Lewandowski’s seventh goal of the season. Bayern were 3-0 up on the break.

 

Lewandowski produced a pinpoint pass to set up Müller’s second goal of the match in the 51st minute. Bayern also hit the post twice in the game. Bayern are to face Atletico Madrid in the Champions League next week.
